Optom Forum is an Australian optometry and optical industry discussion forum started in 2008 in response to demand by optometrists and other optical professionals to network and communicate about issues relevant to them and to the Australian optical and ophthalmic industry in general.
Membership is free to all optical and ophthalmic industry professionals including optometrists, orthoptists, ophthalmologists, optical dispensers, optometry students, industry wholesalers and industry consultants. Membership is not open to the general public. This is not a place to ask for advice about eye problems.

Optomforum Mission Statement
Optomforum is an online Optometrists and Optical Dispensing discussion forum, designed to encourage professional discourse and deliberation regarding optometric issues in Australia which is FREE to all Australian optometrists, optical dispensers, orthoptists, ophthalmologists and optometry students. This forum is moderated by experienced and currently practising members of the industry.
Optomforum endeavours to have:

Encouragement for active deliberation and participation in a professional manner. Optomforum discussions are inclusive of all issues and points of view relating to the optical industry in Australia.
